### Ingredients:
- Milk: 1 liter (preferably full cream)
- Onion: 1 medium-sized (thinly sliced)
- Sugar: 1/2 cup (adjust to taste)
- Ghee (clarified butter): 1 tablespoon
- Cardamom powder: 1/4 teaspoon
- Chopped nuts (optional): 2 tablespoons (almonds, cashews, or pistachios)
- Raisins (optional): 1 tablespoon
### Instructions:
1. **Prepare the Onions:**
- Thinly slice the onion and rinse it thoroughly in water to remove its pungency.
- Pat the slices dry using a kitchen towel or paper napkin.
2. **Fry the Onions:**
- Heat ghee in a pan.
- Add the onion slices and fry them on medium heat until golden brown and crispy. Set aside.
3. **Boil the Milk:**
