Flaxseed Rice(তিসির ভাত)

 Here's a simple and nutritious recipe for **Flaxseed Rice**:


### Ingredients:

- 1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)

- 1 tablespoon flaxseeds (whole or ground)

- 1 tablespoon olive oil or ghee

- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

- 1-2 green chilies (slit, optional)

- 1 small onion (finely chopped)

- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder

- A pinch of asafoetida (hing, optional)

- Salt to taste

- Fresh coriander leaves (chopped, for garnish)

### Instructions:

1. **Prepare the Rice**:

   - Cook the rice and let it cool slightly to prevent it from becoming mushy. Leftover rice works great too.


2. **Toast the Flaxseeds**:

   - Heat a small pan and dry roast the flaxseeds for 1-2 minutes until aromatic. Set aside to cool.


3. **Make the Seasoning**:

   - Heat oil or ghee in a pan on medium heat.

   - Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

   - Add green chilies, asafoetida, and chopped onions. Sauté until onions turn translucent.


4. **Spice it Up**:

   - Add turmeric powder and salt. Mix well.


5. **Combine Flaxseeds and Rice**:

   - Add the roasted flaxseeds to the pan and mix.

   - Add the cooked rice and gently combine everything, ensuring the rice is well-coated with the seasoning.


6. **Garnish and Serve**:

   - Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves on top.

   - Serve warm with yogurt, pickle, or a side dish of your choice.

- **Ground flaxseeds** blend better with the rice, but whole flaxseeds add crunch.
