### Bombay Duck Fish Curry Recipe
**Ingredients:**
- 500g Bombay duck (লোটে মাছ, cleaned and cut into pieces
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 2-3 green chilies, slit
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves, chopped (for garnish)
- 1 cup coconut milk (optional)
**Instructions:**
1. **Marinate the Fish:**
- Rub the Bombay duck pieces with salt and turmeric. Set aside for 15-20 minutes.
2. **Cook the Onions:**
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
3. **Add Spices:**
- Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Cook for a few minutes until fragrant.
- Add the chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and cumin powder. Cook until the tomatoes soften and oil separates from the mixture.
4. **Add Fish:**
- Gently add the marinated Bombay duck pieces to the pan. Cook for 5-7 minutes, being careful not to break the fish.
5. **Add Coconut Milk (Optional):**
- If using coconut milk, add it now. Stir gently and let the curry simmer for another 5-10 minutes until the fish is cooked through.
6. **Garnish:**
- Check seasoning and adjust salt if needed. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
7. **Serve:**
- Serve hot with steamed rice or chapati.
